PCD dryers (Plate Cooling Dryer) are dedicated to specific manufacturing divisions, where it is necessary a compressed air temperature equal to DewPoint, as injection moulding industry or food cold pressing process, etc.

This series is equipped with brazed plate heat exchangers manufactured by primary companies, specifically designed for compressed air treatment. They are provided with only air-to-refrigerant heat exchanger circuit (or evaporator). Inlet air (warm and humid) exchanges heat with refrigerant counter flow (freon), and it quickly cools down to allow the condensation of the humidity it contains. Air-to-air heat exchanger is not present, so compressed air, only just treated, leaves the dryer near to DewPoint temperature.
