Friulair introduces the HDC Series Heatless Modular Desiccant Dryer, a groundbreaking solution offering maximum flexibility in compressed air system design.

The HDC Series is tailored to meet the stringent requirements of various applications, offering unmatched efficiency and reliability, covering pressure dew points from -40°C to -70°C.

 

Our new modular dryers provide airflow capacities between 5 m³/h and 300 m³/h, allowing OEMs and compressed air distributors to offer their customers the most modern and energy-efficient air treatment systems, helping them achieve optimal air quality and operational excellence.


ISO Class 1 and 2 compliance

Pressure dew points from -40°C to -70°C for critical applications.


User-Friendly

The innovative design allows for quick installation and simple maintenance. Selected models also feature an easy-to-use interface and automatic maintenance alarms, making them a popular choice.

Scalability and Modularity

Thanks to their low PED category, HDC dryers help reduce the costs associated with mandatory inspections. They can be installed vertically, either on the floor or on the wall, or horizontally, with connections available on the left or right side. Their modular design makes them particularly practical, simplifying any future expansions or modifications.

 

Advanced Control (HDC models 6÷50)

  • Multiple automatic alarms, Modbus compatibility, and RS-485 communication.
  • Compressor interlock function reduces purge based on air demand.
  • Preventive maintenance messages (filters, valves, desiccant, EMS sensor).
  • Intuitive interface, easy integration into DCS systems.

Microprocessor (HDC 1÷4)

  • Displays cycle time and drying/regeneration status.

Energy Management System (EMS)

The EMS option, available on selected models, uses a high-precision dew point sensor connected to the digital controller to optimize dryer operation based on real conditions.

  • Lower operating costs with payback < 1 year.
  • Low pressure drop (only 0.18 bar).
  • Purge reduction based on air demand (load/unload control).
